Ann’s Farewell
Written by Ann, “Director of First Impressions”
“To all Patients, Friends, and Co-workers:
I have to say, it is with mixed emotions that today is my last day at Dr. Kaplan’s office! I’ll say it one more time: ‘Thank you for calling Dr. Kaplan’s office, this is Ann, how can I help you?’ Thank you for letting me assist you with your scheduling, your dental issues and your dental questions!
You see, if you hadn’t called this office, I would never have met you, nor been blessed by knowing you! Without all of you, my job would have been boring. You, and my co-workers have made this a job I have cherished.
I know for a fact that there has never been a more caring dentist, boss and friend than Dr. Kaplan! We are all the better for knowing her. I am also blessed by the people I have worked with in the office. They have all been such good examples to me of how to serve others.
Please know that I will miss all of you a lot. Although I am pretty sure I won’t miss rising at 5am!
So, as I am reminded by a song that I love from ‘Phantom of the Opera’, I leave you with this thought:
‘Think of me, think of me fondly
When we’ve said good-bye
Remember me, once in a while –
Please promise me you’ll try…
There will never be a day
When I won’t think of you.’
I will hold you in my heart always.”
Fondly,
Ann Laake
